The New York Times profiles my favorite comic book writer, Gail Simone, who just took a perm gig on Wonder Woman. While I’m all for her rescuing Diana from her abysmal title, I totally miss Gail on Birds of Prey. No one writes Black Canary the way Gail does and that, sir, is a damn shame.
